Hello and welcome to my website.  My name is Jenny Harvey Buccieri, RID, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, and I am a Registered Interior Designer, looking to fulfill my long-term career goals of stability and growth in Southwest Florida.  I grew up in Fort Myers, the daughter of a local structural engineer, and I possess both the analytical attributes inherited from my dad, along with the creativity and attention to detail that come with my architectural and interior design abilities.  I am well rooted in the local area, have many qualifications and experiences, and have extensive contacts and professional relationships in the architectural, design, and construction community, which I feel would be a strong benefit to any organization.  I am committed to serving and satisfying clients, increasing company profits by providing the best possible service, and am eager to join a great team who's mission aligns with the honesty and integrity that I put forth through my everyday loyal and dedicated service to clients and the community.

I have over 20 years' experience, with an extensive background in architecture, including architectural and interior  design, project management and coordination, construction administration, space planning, master planning, budgeting, and facilities planning, with a focus on sustainable design and green building practices.  I have strong computer skills, including REVIT Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, Photoshop, SketchUp, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Bluebeam REVU, Picture Manager, and Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

My project experience throughout the years has gained me extensive knowledge of the following building types, in both the public and private sectors:

  • Public and private school facilities - K-12, vocational/technical, and collegiate
  • Commercial, office, retail, banking, and medical buildings, including tenant spaces
  • Governmental facilities and libraries
  • Restaurants, casinos, hotels, and hospitality projects
  • Single and multi-family projects, public housing, condominiums, community centers, and clubhouses
  • Assisted and independent living facilities
  • Churches and religious architecture
  • Industrial, manufacturing, and warehousing facilities
  • Parking structures

My experience has also included extensive programming analysis, feasibility studies, and space planning of large organizations, knowledge of building code, life safety, and accessibility requirements, and specifications of building products, materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, art, and specialty items.  I am excellent at time management, cost analysis, quality control, and project scheduling of multiple simultaneous projects, to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget, and within the scope of requirements.  I am skilled in building excellent rapport with clients, and adept in communication skills with all team members, including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.  I am goal-oriented, an analytical problem-solver, and extremely well organized and proficient with documentation of all correspondence, including AIA documents, proposals, contracts, change orders, pay requests, meeting minutes, status reports, RFI's, shop drawings, and all construction documentation required for completion of projects, both large and small.  Throughout my career, I have learned to wear many hats, enabling myself to handle both the administrative and construction documentation required to see projects to fruition.  I have a strong sense of loyalty with a team member mentality, while at the same time able to work independently when needed.

When I am not working with clients, I enjoy giving back to the community through my church, spending time with family and friends, experiencing the outdoors on ATV's, and traveling to the mountains.  I volunteer often for my children's extracurricular activities, including their Girl Scout Troop, Lee County 4-H Club, Upwards Soccer and Cheerleading, Dance Programs, and the Parent/Teacher Organizations at their schools.  I also stay actively involved in the local chapters of ASID, IIDA, and the USGBC, including trade show events, business networking, and continuing education workshops.

I feel that my education, experience, and professional/civic affiliations would be a strong asset to any team, and would enhance its reputation and profitability.  I am ultimately looking for a long-term position in a dynamic organization, for stability and growth in the Southwest Florida marketplace.  However, while I am between endeavors, I work as a freelance Interior Designer on a consulting basis.  So, I am open to different opportunities, whatever the need shall be.  Please feel free to review my additional web pages, including my resume, portfolio, and references, and to contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss any potential opportunities.  I am available immediately, and look forward to working with you on your team effort!

Thank you for your time and for visiting my website!

Best Regards,

Jenny Buccieri
